Druzhkovka Lesson Report

As always, our lessons went very well! People are always happy with our time together, and we are delighted to fellowship with them! Many people stay after our gatherings. Some of them thank our Mission and send their greetings, others ask for prayer, and some share their experiences or joys! This is a great time when we can share together! Over the last four years, we’ve gotten very close to these people; however, new people are coming!

When Ira was teaching a lesson in Design of Christ Church on our last trip, she noticed a woman who came for the first time! She sat and listened attentively to the lesson. Afterward, Ira wanted to talk to her, but she left very quickly. This time she was there again. She also sat and listened to the lesson closely. At the end of our meeting, Ira always urges people to reconcile with God and repent of their sins. After the lesson, many left, and those who remained came up, and we prayed with them. When everyone left, we saw this woman sitting in a row. Ira asked her what she wanted to ask, and she came up to her and quietly said, “I want to repent and receive God.” Honestly, there was no end to Ira’s joy! For a moment, she imagined how joyous the heavens were and thanked God for His victory! We prayed and rejoiced together.

Her name is Irina, and she is 52 years old. She told us she used to drink a lot and lived a bad life. Although she had been to church for a long time and knew God, she stepped away from Him and didn’t really understand how she ended up there.

Masha was the one who first invited her to a lesson with us. When Irina attended, the lesson disturbed her heart, and she began to attend church. After a month, she was invited to the lesson again, and that’s when she decided to renew her relationship with God! 

This is a testimony of how our almighty, loving Father takes care of everything! One woman brought Ira freshly cut roses and mint, and she thanked us for being there! We publicly congratulated Irina on her repentance and reconciliation with God and handed over a bouquet! Looking at Irina’s happy face, Ira realized that it was the Lord who had already taken care of this in advance, giving flowers through us! Glory to Him for the miracles in our life!
